IRAQ HISTORY
Iraq is considered the cradle of ancient civilizations and is the first to invent writing.
The first letter in the world was written in Uruk, the capital of the Sumerian civilization, 4,000 years ago. Also, the Obelisk of Hammurabi is considered the first civil law that established the systems of human life on the globe.

The Iraqi government has worked to transform challenges into opportunities for success.
The most important of which is the legislation of laws that support the private sector, as it enacted Investment Law No. 13 of 2006 and established independent investment commissions in each province, in addition to a national investment commission interested in amending and developing legislation in this field as well as strategic projects.
The government has also legislated the oil refining law and established investment refineries under Law 64 of 2007 and Industrial Cities Law No. 3 of 2019 and many rules and regulations to attract foreign companies and facilitate their tasks to invest in Iraq in terms of residence, obtaining a visa and transferring money from inside Iraq to abroad, as well as facilitating Obtaining investment opportunities in various sectors (oil, energy, residential complexes and health).
